Every year, an estimated 11.3 million tons of clothing and textile waste end up in landfills in the United States alone. 👚 This weekend, I attended a sip and swap event put on by Common Place SD. At the end of the event, the leftover clothes were donated to local organizations including Sharia’s Closet. I love clothing swaps, but even more, I love keeping my textiles out of the landfill!
